Bashan Umeshu

Nestled above the black cliffs of Nahal El-Al, in the mineral-rich basalt soils of the Golan, Japanese plums flourish in our certified-organic orchard. Here, at our family farm, Bashan Umeshu is handcrafted with care—from orchard tending to final bottling.
Prized for its fragrant, refreshingly sweet and tart character, influenced by plums grown without synthetic fertilizers, it can be enjoyed on the rocks or in cocktails. Rich in antioxidants, it has long been valued in the East as a digestive aid, and contains no sulfites. Created in harmony with Jewish agricultural heritage and adherence to kashrut, Bashan Umeshu is an expression of Japanese tradition and Israeli terroir.
